About Epic Endurance Coaching
Hey, I'm Paige!
Welcome to Epic Endurance Coaching, where I provide personalized training to help you reach your fitness goals. As a former smoker and someone who came to running later in life, I understand how challenging it can be to make a change. I am passionate about helping individuals discover their inner athlete and build the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, my mission is to help you get the most out of your training and reach your full potential.
I've had an epic journey myself. Let's start with the fact that I have not been a runner all my life. In my youth, I was a lacrosse goalie and dabbled in a variety of sports. When I wasn't playing lacrosse you could find me smoking cigarettes and avoiding running wherever possible. By the time I was in my mid-30's I was at about 2-packs a day when my husband had a massive heart attack (a heavy smoker as well). A life changing event for both of us. It was that day, we both quit smoking and replaced our smoking with eating. It took a few years of excessive eating to finally question our latest life choices.

We started with just a simple walking goal and simple modifications to our daily eating habits. The next thing I knew I was doing a walk/run and asking myself "Would a 5K even be possible?" The answer was, "Yes!". Shortly after my first 5k, I was hungry for new goals and distances. "Would a Marathon be possible?" The answer was "Yes!" What are these Ultra's? "Yes - I can do them to!"
As a data analyst, it was only natural for me to geek out on all the data I could get my hands on as I explored running. I gravitated to learning more and more about what was possible and what was needed to make it possible.
While my journey began at sea level on the rocky trails of Pennsylvania, I took an opportunity to move to higher altitudes in Northwest Montana. Since my move, I've continued to increase my knowledge base around what it takes to be the best version of yourself in a wider range of climates, altitudes, and terrains. Today, I LOVE running. I love hiking, walking and moving. I love what my new found fitness allows me to do. I love that I can share what I have learned to help others find their own Epic Endurance and that it's a journey worth taking.

Racing History
My first race was a road 5k in 2012 at the age of 37 with a time of 30:48 and a few years later I've gone to a sub-25 minute 5k. For the next 5-years I continued to do a series of road races ranging in distance from 5k up to a marathon. And then I tried my first ultra and fell in love with trail running and ultra distances. Since then, I've completed 15+ ultra races ranging in distance, terrain, time and altitude. I've also done several ultra distance just for fun.
